Animal print is a renewed trend of the season. Python and leopard. Proud on catwalks and pretty much in every shop. Symbolic. Ephemeral. Hedonist. It appears on bags, shoes and as a glamorous detail in Marella’s autumn-winter collection. It accompanies super-natural shades of this season makeup too, without sacrificing precious formulas and stage effects.

Ivory, caramel, golden beige all the way to light bronze reflections; matt effect khaki harmonies as well as cognac brown  for a tone sur tone effect, without wanting to flaunt excesses and in order to prefer the philosophy for perfect aesthetic harmony.

Animal print taste transforms  woman’s body, charging it with new meanings. It recalls wild and free aninaml’s skin. It conveys an idea of emancipation made of seduction, erotic strength and very desirable. Romantic and decadent is a timeless classic!

A report from Fragranze in partnership with Elle.it

With the presentation at Fragranze of novelties from Haute Parfumerie, new trend-now in place for months-on olfactory Middle East harmonies is definitely confirmed. Cryptic were fragrances by Dries van Noten par Frederic Malle, Eau de Parfum Buillon by Byredo and Eau de Parfum Sahara Noir by Tom Ford. All released in perfumeries between March and August 2013. New olfactory harmonies converge towards the Middle East, are enriched with aromatic resins, ingredients used in ancient religious ceremonies, offered as gifts to the Gods. From agarwood to frankincense. Essences introduced at Fragranze, become geographic coordinates that help to orient feelings and moods. For this reason they assume the function of a talisman. To them we give the same task that Mademoiselle Coco gave them, when she was used to say “a woman without perfume has no future” well aware that a scent, no matter who wears it, male or female, becomes a wake, an extension of oneself,  key to seduction, memory and remembrance. The only chance to leave an indelible mark. Enclosed in crystal bottles with captivating design, they are like magic potions, mystical and esoteric, hot and cold, generous and cruel.

Mendittorosa scents from the soul, artistic perfume line created by Stefania Squeglia introduced to Pitti Fragrances its two new creations: North and South. Light and provocative enough, provide acute insights which lead to the real limits of a love story. Amouage, synonymous of luxury and olfactory excellence, has unveiled exclusively its new creation, Fate Donna, oriental chypre fragrance, which represents the tumultuous resonance of the unknown.

Boadicea The Victorious, are a tribute to the brave british warrior queen. One of the novelties presented is Ardent, seductive fragrance with a sumptuous aroma, where bold saffron plays with coriander before being tamed by a velvety damask rose. Montale – Paris famous for its collections of fragrances that evoke original essences of Middle East and Saudi Arabia: his bottles contain within themselves the magical atmosphere and the ancient history of those worlds: Bois Précieux, Encens, Amber, Roses Epices, Aoud. Each creation represents a unique project of harmonies and a blend of East and West achieved through the absolute quality and rarity of raw materials.

Dior and Chanel make-up fall – look 2013 collections are a tribute to their own houses charm. Signs printed in eye shadows textures, lipstick colors and glazes capture dusk colors and hand back a fairy and magic enchantment with shiny irridescences brightened by cold tones. Reinforced by silver harmonious contrast with matt or metallic tones. Greys, pinks and khaki are monochrome glazes that shade eyes with a soft or graphic smoky effect, always elegant.

Designers as well as Perfumers are very superstitious. Some of them have gone down in history with a universe filled with symbolic objects, sources of inspiration. Monsieur Dior, for example, was superstitious. It is said that one evening of April 1946, in rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, just as he was uncertain whether to abandon his career as a fashion designer to found his own label line, he tripped on a perforated metal star. The next day he opened his fashion house and that object which became a good luck charm never left his pockets again. Make-up collection Fall Look 2013 Mystic Metallics is dedicated to the magic of the firmament. Eyeshadows 5 Couleurs, carved with stars, give tones and metallic sheen a certain vibration. They create magnetic and mysterious eyes.

DIOR-864 CONSTELLATIONFrom above: Fall – Look DIOR Mystic Metallics Autumn / Winter 2013 Make-up collection. Palette 5 Couleurs Mystic Metallics 864 Constellation.

Chanel also loved to surround herself with symbolic objects: lions, her star sign, made of bronze or alabaster, sheaves of wheat, inevitable the number “5”. With a hint of malice, she inserted them in the heart of her collections, over a jewel ,in an embroidery, in a button. Autumn 2013  Superstition collection revisits this theme of luck through these “esoteric” symbols used by Mademoiselle. With playful and surreal spirit it  combines bronze, taupe and khaki tones to the alchemy of a golden beige, deep pink and burgundy  palette. Autumn 2013 make up collections are a happy omen of beauty. In a time of difficult economic and social crisis, texture nuances and pigments of lipstick affect the look as lucky charms eager to put emphasis on karma and good fortune.
